  • gradually, and carefully. most likely she will submit herself to the older cat (since it is a common behavior even if she thinks shes queen, hes her king) it all depends on the cats though, its thier choice to behave or not. you will probably have to dicipline her, or even the older male. if a fight occurs, seperate them and make hissing noises at both. then hold the "bully" or whoever started it by the back of the neck (where loose skin is) and shake firmly but not hard. repeat "NO!" and hiss. if both attack each other, then grasp each like above in each hand (one cat in the left, one in the right) and repeat the shake and "NO!" it will seem sily o scary at first, but it will work. you need to tell bnoth of them that NEITHER is the ALPHA but in fact you are. the little one will understand quicker than the older one (just like in real life) if it gets out of hand, then seperate both into small rooms.
  • As she is only very young, you should be able to integrate them both with time and lots of patience. I would introduce them initially by keeping the persian in his carrier and let her come and have a sniff and place a couple of boxes with blankets in different rooms for him to hide if she becomes too much for him. Feed them separately, a lot of cats don't like to eat together and feed her first. Make sure she sees that he is getting his food after her, greet her first when you come home and and lavish praise on her when she seems to tolerate his presence. She will make a lot of noise and paws will probably fly initially, but I have found that eventually when the alpha realises he/she isn't going to be displaced, things settle down. Good luck
