What kind of lineup changes is Detroit Tigers manager Jim Leyland planning to make?

I'm not exactly sure, but something needs to be done! Sheffield is injured every other game. Maybe they should put him in every other inning? They are paying Sheff way too much for the little contribution that he makes. What's with calling up a different minor leaguer every couple of weeks? Call up Hessman and give the offense an immediate boost. I'm trying to be patient, but the slow start is quickly turning into a losing season.

Well the big one will be that Palcido Palanco is not likely to return to the team and will become a free agent. This means Scott Sizemore who recentley had foot surgery will most likley become the new second basemen. Fernando Rodney is not likely to return to the team either. I believe Marcus Thames should be the starting something and Curtis Granderson should hit 4th or 5th. This would mean we would have 2 open spots in the lineup assuming Palonco doesn't return. I say we put Ryan Raburn at 1 and Ordonez at 2. this is my opinion but it all starts and depends on the front office to make some moves this off-season.
