How do fruits and vegetables like potatoes and lemons produce electricity?

    Acidic in many different fruits and vegetables causes a chemical reaction when you place a strip of copper and a strip of zinc causing electricity. It is not every strong, when I was in school a Long, Long time ago we used tomatoes because they seemed to produce the most electricity.

    if it is a fruit or vegie that burns well for a fair while they burn it to make water into steam to turn a turbine and send magnets into a generator that spin very fast and create electricity.
