Question

Help answer this question below.

I have recently found a small, circular, whitish bump, which I think is on one of my tonsils. My doctor has told me that it is a cyst. Is it likely to go away itself or will it probably need to be removed?...and if so, how?

I can't even see my tonsils.

Cysts usually go away if it doesn't go see your doctor again.

if it is a cyst they are likely to go away by themselves. if not don't worry they are easy to take care of. they are just a jelly like substance. the hard way to get rid of them is to hit it with something heavy like a hammer or a book (seriously) but thats dumb. the best way is to just go in and have it drained. your doctor will insert a small needle into the cyst this won't hurt and will drain the fluid from it.
