Mine is:

"Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right Forget about the one's who don't. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would most likely be worth it." -Unknown-

So many.
"Sex between a man and a woman is a wonderful thing as long as you get imbetween the right man and the right woman" - Grouch Marx

"Sir you are drunk". "And you madam are ugly, but I will be sober in the morning". - Lady Astor and Winston Churchill - one of their many spats.

"I offer you nothing but blood sweat and tears" - Winston Churchill rallying speech at the start of the Second World War when all seemed lost.

"Win Rocky Win" - From Rocky II, Adrienne lying in hospital just after coming out of her coma. I always cry at that bit.

I'd love to know why someone marked this and some of the other answers as unhelpful. Nothing wrong with any of them at this moment in time as far as I can see.

I have quite a few to pick from. (I have an
e-mail service that sends me dozens of them every day for free.)

A few of my personal favourites are...
-"The thought of suicide is a great consolation; be means of it, one gets through many a bad night." Friedrich Nietzsche.

-"Sleep is lovely, death better still, not to have been born is of course a miracle." Heinrich Heine.

-"Wise men talk because they have something to say, stupid men talk because they have to say something." Plato.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Both Mick Jagger and Keith Richards are creditied with the lyrics to this song. So, unless you know which one specifically came up with the hook phrase, you should change it to be accurate.

Reminds me of watching an interview with Keith Richards explaining how he wrote the musical intro for Satisfaction, sitting around with a tape recorder and getting drunker and drunker, until finally he passed out. In the morning, he couldn't remember anything about what he did so he rewound the tape and pushed "play". And there was the opening of "Satisfaction".

"Better to be a diamond with a flaw than a pebble without."

"The bird with the thorn in its breast, it follows an immutable law; it is driven by it knows not what to impale itself and die singing. At the very instant the thorn enters there is no awareness in it of the dying to come; it simply sings and sings until there is not the life left to utter another note. But we, when we put the thorns in out breast, we know. we understand. And still we do it. Still we do it."
(from The Thorn Birds, Colleen McCullough)
