I'm not totally sure what you mean, but if you mean trap it, like when you trap it in a door, then you're usually advised to run it under cold water for several minutes, mainly to lessen any swelling that will probably develop. After you run it under cold water, then you should apply an antiseptic cream, preferably an analgesic one that also numbs the area a bit too, such as Germolene. Then, if your finger is bleeding, you could stick some sort of covering on it, but be sure not to wrap it tightly because your finger will most likely continue to swell. If you think you may have seriously injured your finger, or even broken it, then you should go and seek medical advice.
