My ex said that at the moment she doesnt know if she would like to be with me and that she is taking it day by day, but if she wants to be with me she will call. Also she said that i shouldnt wait on her, so do it sound like i might have a chance?

Sounds like you should give her space and don't hold your breath. Let her go. Perhaps she will come to miss you and perhaps she will not. I say get on with your life and start doing things that you like to do outside of your relationship. DON'T call or write her--it will only aggrivate her.

it sounds like she might be trying to break up with you and either doesnt want to hurt your feelings or likes the attention that you give her and she doesnt want to give that up until she finds someone else. dont get me wrong im sure she still cares about you but she seems to not care enough. alot of people get played like that, i have been and it really sucks, people like that just arent worth it. I could be totally super wrong but just keep this stuff in mind

a chance? au contraire!! what you need to do is start telling yourself that it's over... i mean, yeah, there might be a possiblity of her coming back, but if she doesn't at least you have moved on... and besides, no offense to your girl, but if she wasn't sure of her feelings, then she shouldn't have hooked with you in the first place! she's just being unfair for hooking up, and now for making you wait.....

Unfortunately, I think she's telling you in a subtle way that it's over. You shouldn't wait around for her, she's probably not coming back. Why would you even want to waste your time sitting around waiting for her in case she may decide to call you? The best thing to do is to be cool with it (or at least act like you are) and go out and try to have fun. She may regret her decision at some point, but by then you will have moved on, and you can tell her to take a hike.

Just sit back and wait out the storm, it could be that she kinda wants you back but she is keeping tabs on you to see if you run to the first slut you see. Women, dont try to figure them out, you cant. This could be just a simple test, like to see if you go a stray at the first sign of a bump in the road.

From situations ive seen shes going to find someone else but if you do first shes going to get jealous but not want to be with you. maybe miss you though.
