You're reading Was Ayn Rand a mistress of a Rothchild? I have heard John Todd's thoughts on it but I am looking for more info on the idea.

You are talking about Nathaniel Brandon: his relationship with Ayn was a true Greek Tragedy. An excellent book that goes into this is Barbara Brandon's "The Passion of Ayn Rand". Nathaniel Brandon's book "Judgement Day" is also very good, but they strongly disagree on certain points.

Thank you! I appreciate the info. I was not sure of the persons name she had the affair with and I am going to find that book, "The Passion of Ayn Rand" and give it a read! I love her work and I am also going to look into her Philosophies. They are a little bit difficult to find around here in the southern bible belt!! LOL I am a great fan of Ayn Rand. She was a genious to say the least! You are the first person I have ever come across who admires her....no one I know, here in the south, even knows who she is! What a shame! Isn't it!

She is a true intellectual hero of mine. And, yes, of all the people I've read or known about, she most exemplifies the concept of genius. I now live in Columbia, SC, & I know of no one interested in her. And her philosophy, Objectivism, has true enemies: the logical positivists endemic in our universities, for one.
