    Really depends on where you go the avaerage optician charges around £25 per eye test.

    My refraction (to determine which strength of corrections I need) cost me $26.00. Lots of gagets and it's done by a technician in the optomists office. Medicare and my supplemental insurance pay the cost of the rest of the exam because I've had cataract surgery.
