Which does a Christian dislike more; a Satanist or an Athiest? Though Satanists rebel against God/good, they acknowledge his existence, while athiests deny God's existence but may or may not be good people.

I'd say that a Christian would dislike a satanist more than an atheist because there is a far more direct reason behind it.

definately a satanist. A athiest just doesn't believe. But anyone who thinks the dark side is so great has a problem:) why would i ever what the dark!?

Any halfway decent Christian wouldn't dislike someone more than another based on their belief or lack of belief in God.

I would feel "neutral" to either one. Free will is a wonderful thing and I treasure my right to believe what I do and respect other's choices.

Those are just labels..which person is kind, helpful, caring and non-judgmental? The one I would dislike would be the self-righteous, arrogant, patronizing, judgmental person who undermines others and tries to get ahead in life by telling lies and cheating. :) Happy Friday! :)

They both have their downsides. Besides, most modern(LeVey) satanists are actualy a type of athiest. They belive in the hear and now and belive in no afterlife, the way an athiest does. There are few true satanists who worship the actual Satan Lucifer. So by disliking a satinist you are dislikeing a athiest at the same time.

I don't like or dislike anyone because of what they call themselves. I don't know any Satanists, but I have friends who are Atheist. It does not matter to me what their beliefs are..I don't try to change theirs and they don't try and change mine. We accept and respect each other for who we are, not what we believe (or don't believe).

I honestly don't dislike either of them, as long as they can be reasonable about my beliefs. I don't expect either of them to become a Christian. Only God can move on a person's heart.

As a Christian, I don't dislike either. An Atheist simply doesn't believe in a god or God. There are two groups of Satanists, secular and traditional Satanists. The secularists do not believe in in a literal, personal, spiritual being called Satan, but rather consider Satan to be an archetype or symbol that represents the ideas of Satanic philosophy. For all intents and purposes Secular Satanists are Atheists. Traditional Satanism, which involves the worship of the Satan of the Bible through a perversion and parody of Roman Catholicism, appeared in the fifteenth century coming out of the Inquisition. I don't dislike the people that follow a certain religion, I just dislike what certain religions do to the people.

As a christian i would rather be around an athiest before a satanist. An athiest doesn't believe a satanist worship satan. While I don't agree with either one I know the athiest can't harm me but hanging around with satanic worshippers will surely place in line with a visit from the demonic realm. Especially if you truely worship God because those people are the ones the demmons want to destroy.

they gotta like satanist's more , because he is one of their boys , from their storybook . he is a christian character . even resided in heaven , so to worship him is actually a branch of christianity . but since he got kicked out , and opened his own shop , they have been blameing him on us . the wiccan's , pagan's and witch's. who have nothing to do with him. thats the way i see it . (if i believed he / it actually existed .)

As a Satanist, I do not acknowledge the existence of the Christian God. I believe Satan to be our true Creator, and those who are pushing the lies of Christianity are the true devils.

I think christians hate atheists more because they dont believe in god at all like myself whereas satanists believe in god and satan but prefer to worship satan

Do you know about Christianity? You are actually supposed to work the teachings and follow Christ. Christ was someone who hated no one. That was his message. Just because someone does not agree does not mean that the only other alternative is to hate them. Satanists do not necessarily rebel against good, rather they refuse to recognize the concept of sin. Jesus does not need someone to accept Him, rather in His compassion He allows each individual to seek the Christian path or not and still return unconditional compassion and love to them.

The existence of god or devil is unprovable. Silly beliefs abound on both sides.
