I you are the one innocent person in jail I'll bet you would agree. I think that is the goal.

I agree wholeheartedly. All I have to do is think that any of us could be that innocent person.

no........I think that it would be foolish to let ten people go free when they could possibly harm others in the process. The justice system is in no way perfect, but I believe with the advancement of DNA testing among other technological advances, that we are moving towards a more refined way to convict the guilty and free others who are innocent.

I agree...do you know how many people are convicted upon curcumstanial evidence and not physical evidence. Anybody can be convicted upon circumstanial evidence I hope I'm never wrongly accused of a crime.

I believe they were refering to the death penality. You can undo sending an innocent man to jail you can't undo killing an innocent one.

Yes. There would be no true justice otherwise.
