Yea, yea you are.

It depends on how long you have been dating. I think that maybe telling him how you feel would be better to start off with, and simply see what his motive is. It is his profession and maybe he would prefer not to do it either but if it puts food on his table and clothes on his back, then that is what he has to do.

No! You are not being harsh, you're being utterly ridiculous!

I agree with you in that he may be objectifying women, but expecting him to stop because you are opposed to it does seem impractical. If you are extremely bothered by it and he isn't, perhaps you don't have enough in common to sustain a long term relationship and should consider moving on. If you feel that this is a minor issue that you can compromise on, then work towards doing that.

You are not being harsh in expressing your opinion and asking him to stop. It would only be harsh if you threatened to end the relationship or used emotional blackmail if he didn't stop.
-
If you don't like him the way he is, then you don't have to be with him. Why would you want to be with someone you want to change?

I don't think you are being harsh but I do find your opinions over bearing and judgemental. Are you willing to make up the diffence in the money he loses from turning down work?
