I called a guy in Europe barkeep one time and he took real offence to it. LOL

- lol, I've been bartending since 17, illegal i know... i learned not to put up with it. I'm awesome friends with all of my customers, but i find the easiest way to put a customer back in line is to refuse service unless manners are proven : ) sounds mean, but we have the right to refuse to serve anyone if we wish not to... i don't take advantage of it...though none the less

The female bartenders at my family's place wanted to be called barmaids. I never took to it, but it was a happy name around that joint. I don't know.
