  • Actually most have front discs
  • Yes most new cars now have Rear disc brakes. and all the new car are front disc brakes.
  • you might have to request rear disc brakes.
  • This all depends on what vehicle it is, today the majority may have rear disc but not all of them, and most trucks have rear drum for the better stopping ability of drum brakes. Disc are easier to work on if you know what your doing though. They eliminated front drums in the 60's or 70's but still use them on the rear. Hope this helps??
  • It's usually a high performance model option but more newer cars are coming with them these days.
  • No most cars have front disk brake because of the drive. My explaniation is if a car is a rearn wheel drive like most cars the brakes would be on the front. that way controling brakes will be more easy because to slow down or break you let go of the gas and put on the break which then stops the car at more exact. some have rear disk breaks but those are the models in the 2006's and belows.
