It has already been decided, she will not be Queen but remain a Duchess.
-
Camilla will not be queen, she will the King's consort. I have no problem with that.
-
Camilla is definitely ample when Queen or Consort.

She won't in any way be replacing the Queen, who is the monarch and she will be replaced in that role by Prince Charles. Whether she is given the title of Queen or not Camilla will be the King's consort, not a monarch. The only person she could be said to be replacing would be Prince Philip, who is the Queen's consort.

Being neither British nor Canadian, I am hoping very much that the Queen lives at least as long as her mother did .... over 100 years ..... and Charles is eating his heart out the whole time because of it. Having virtually completed reading Tina Brown's "The Diana Chronicles" makes me proud that that worthless piece of royal baggage who is the Prince of Wales will be king one day less for every day his mama lives. Thank GOD we fought a successful war to rid US of royalty!!!

She won't be a replacement, she can never be Queen. However, for argument's sake IF she were to become Queen I would feel just as apathetic about it as I do about Prince Charles becoming King. I feel we need to skip a generation this time, if we are to have greater enthusiasm. (BTW Australians, New Zealanders may have an interesting opinion on this too... and a whole bunch of others. She is not simply Queen of Britain and Canada) =)

From my understanding, and through some of the media,Price Charles will be bypassed as King(partially because of what happened to Lady Di) and his oldest son will be next in line.In the media it is said that she has pledged the throne to Prince William,Prince Charles's son and NOT to Prince Charles.

It won't make any difference to me.
