4 dollars is quite a bit of money for coffee. If you want to find good coffee for ok price. Go to Tim Hortons.

Four dollars is pretty normal for Starbucks which I've paid and not thinked twice about it. I do make better coffee at home and cheaper as well.

I suppose it depends on how thirsty you are. You can make a cup of coffee for pennies at home. I think it's far worse to spend $5.00 on pack of cigarettes.

I dont like paying anythign for a coffe outside the house, it is always too expensive. The mark up has to be incredulous, it costs ten cents to make a coffee and they`re charging 4 bucks. I will buy coffee but only for a treat once in a while, or if I have to kill some time.

Yes, it's really insane. I rarely go to Starbuck's, even though there are quite a few of them now really close to my house. When I do go, it's usually because someone gave me a gift card. I can get really good coffee a lot cheaper at Quiktrip or 7-11.

At Dukin Donuts a Medium Latte is 4 dollars too... so don't knock Starbucks... I also am in NYC so everything is "expensive".

I would never pay $4.00, I hate paying a dollar. Paying gas has ruined all other liquids, not that I've ever had a cup of gas, lol!

I think you gotta be outta your mind to pay $4.00 for a cup of coffee, unless there's like a diamond or something at the bottom of the cup (which is highly unlikely)

Few people are paying $4 for a cup of coffee. If you are referring to Starbucks products, they are paying $4 for milk, sugar, whip cream, and a little bit of coffee flavor. Different product than straight coffee.

what are you paying for? A cup of coffee at starbucks ranges from $1.60-$1.95 depending on cup size. If we're talking about the fancy lattes and frappuccinos, then that's normal.

I pay over 4 dollars for a coffee drink but just one specific drink..I would pay i'd say up to 15 dollars for it but paying more than that is just silly :smirk:

I would, but I really like coffee. I think it's insane to pay $60+ a month for cable or satellite TV. I would much rather spend $10-20 a month enjoying time with friends at my favorite coffee shop.
