You can call the Credit Card company and they will most likley have you sign a affidavide of forgery. Once that is signed they will remove you from the credit card, but they will go after your spouse for fraud (At least the company I worked for did)

You have two choices: Take responsibility or send hubby to jail for fraud.

Only way to dodge responsibility is to give the credit card companies the green light to prosecute the offender...and since it's your hubby you obviously can assist in that or face obstruction charges yourself.

Your choice. Tough one...but it really is your call. Suck it up and handle it in-house, or prosecute the sorry sack of shit using the legal system.

Whatever route you choose from these suggestions...do it right away. You must stop him NOW...or you enable him to continue. Now that you know...and if you do nothing...you should be held equally responsible.

You report it. Charges of fraud can be pressed against your husband. However, this will be a marital debt if the criminal courts don't determine otherwise. As such, regardless of his having done this, it is yours to pay as much as it is his.

I don't think you are legally responsible if you report the fraud to the credit card companies and the police. The fact that this is your spouse will definitely complicate matters.
