No. Exchange of Points is banned in AB.
-
If neighbor = good answer, than yes, you got it.
-
Points? There are points?
-
Well there are other things you got to look at like the type of question and if its meaningful in any way to you.
-
yeah but if you give too much to one neighbor you get cut off.
-
No. I think it's "we really don't have to see each other here, if we don't like each other."
-
Not really because the main purpose of AB is not the points. I think the true golden rule still should reign here. Treat other people how you wish to be treated. Answer questions as you wish for your questions to be answered.
-
Not at all. The golden rule is no different than anyplace else. Treat people decently and hopefully they will treat you the same way. Points aren't given to people. Points are given to questions and answers. That's what they are for, to rate those postings and give them some value, so hopefully the better ones rise to the top or more prominence, to help out the ones asking the questions. This site was initially set up as a question and answe5r site for gaining information and learning. Yes, it's changed a bit but that is still it's intention.
-
I would say no, because that sets up the unreasonable expectation of receiving points. To me, the rule would be, "Give points whenever a question or answer makes you laugh, smile, think, cry, or even shake your head. Perhaps you will receive some in return." :o)
-
One in need of polishing.
-
Beside the point, to me. I look for interesting questions and answers, and the occasional spirited dialog.
