The taste of breast milk is VERY dependant on what you are eating/ putting into your body, breast milk will almost always taste like food that the mother eats, kind of watered down and, well, milky. I was expressing in the shower one day and accidently got myself in the face, after I got over the shock, I was amazed at how much it tasted like the chicken dinner I had the night before! It is very good for babies and although not a very good source of nutrition for adults, it isn't BAD for you.

I don't know what it tastes like, but of course it would be good for you. It is, after all, meant to feed babies. It is about the only thing that babies would have eaten for the earliest part of their lives before the invention of the various baby foods. How could something like that not be good for you?

When it first comes in it can be salty but then it is sweet, like coconut milk. The formilk is thinner then the hindmilk is thicker and creamier.

I have been lactating for 2 years and it has never tasted like my breakfast, lunch or dinner.

As bad as it may taste, it can't be any worse for you than drinking a COW's breast milk. Am I the only one who see's that as slightly weird?

NOTE: It would benefit all parties involved. I've heard that breasts get rather tense when they're 'full', and if the baby isn't born yet, then there's little alternative for the mother than to go and squirt some out in the garden - which seems like a bit of a waste, when you think about it.

Don't expect it to taste like cow's milk out or the fridge...it's warm, a bit thin for adult tastes, and extremely nourishing.Evidence shows that babies brought up on mother's milk are less susceptible to diseases, and grow better and faster, than babies raised on man-made substitutes

Oh yes and it is as good for an adult as it is for a baby. It is good for the immune system, prevents cancer (may even treat cancer) in both the reciever and the woman who is lactating. Lactating for 2 years or more reduces breast cancer by 50%.

It tastes delicious -- a lot sweeter than cows milk...the foremilk (what comes out in the beginning of a feeding) is watery and thirst-quenching and the hind-milk (what comes at the end of a feeding) is richer and higher in fat. It does taste a bit like what you ate the night before but it always tastes similar. The only reason why people might say it is gross is their own aversion to where it comes from. It is actually quite good and is nutritious to adults as well. The immunological properties can benefit adults too -- breastmilk is a great food for very sick adults or anyone really.

im not sure what it tastes like :/ but i know that human milk isn't considered the best milk considering humans are at the end of most food chains we accumulate toxins in our bodies which build up and are in our milk making, however most these toxins are harmless so i'd say its pretty much the same as other milks available
