The problem you describe could be caused by either of those and there is no easy way to tell which, other than trial-and-error. It sounds like you are on the right track.

My car Toyota tercel 92 1.5 L continuslly stalls, As soon as i start it, and leave my foot of the gas peddal , it shivers and shakes and just stops . I need to leave my foot on the gas on nutral and drive so i can keep it going!
