Turkey is full of tryptophan. And that makes you sleepy. I've also heard that warm milk makes you tired. I've never tried it though.

Milk, at bedtime and six cookies. a winning combination for la-la land.

And, stay out of the bed, except for sex and sleeping.

having the biggest problem sleeping right now, it sucks majorly!
my mom has been going to relaxation courses and one of them focaused on sleeping, one of the ideas was to sleep with a eye mask on, because of a certain chemical that has to do with sleeping, gets reduced when even a little bit of light is in the room, also sleeping with ear plugs in is supossed to help to block out any noise, they gave out samples of mask+ear plugs. I tried them but the mask was itchey, and the ear plugs didnt seem to help because it made it so i could hear my breathing and my heart beating.

One of the things they talked about but didnt give any samples of, was something called the Zenbev. Which is basically a drink thats supossed to help you sleep, im thinking of trying it, it's supossed to be all natural, Google it and see if you want to give it a try, maybe it will help?

A Nice hot chocalate or tea can help you sleep or a warm milk. also dont have any acidic foods like oranges or lemons. try an apple would be good. Try to get rid of any thoughts you have and that will help you sleep. try not to go to bed late.

Eat many different types of meat in the one meal - eg, a little bit of beef, chicken, pork.

I don't know if that works because I've never tried it but one of my fitness books says, "Don't do this because it will make you tired."

Actually, coming to think of it, I have tried it - every time I go to a smorgasboard.

    Milk does the trick.
When you drink it before bed, it releases soothing enzymes in your stomach which help you relax.
    Hope this helps :)

If you exercise regularly, and ay regular times, and you eat regularly, and at regular times, and you go to bed when you feel tired rather than because it is the time you always go to bed, then you should create a much better sleep pattern. Eating before bed will sendmore blood to your stomach, but you might have problems later during the night. A warm milky drink before you go is probably best.
