When I scratch my dog in a certain spot, her hind leg sometimes twitches or kicks and her skin where I'm scratching sort of tightens up. Why is that?

    She does this because she is telling you "Oh Yeh, that feels soooooooo gooood!" LOL All dogs do this. If you were hurting her you would get the opposite reaction and she would try to get away from you.
