  • More than likely, those threat really are not threats at all and are more likely to be cookies or other false positive results. While it is possible, I have doubts your crash is spyware related and is possibly a hardware issue (hardware generated error) or a software conflict. More details about this crash would really help us truly understand what kind of problem you are really having.
  • Solved the situation myself after a while: My issue wasn't uncommon - they call it "BSOD" for Blue Screen of Death The solution involved starting the computer in Safe Mode, downloading a standalone "Virtumonde" Removal Utility, and killing the explorer.exe process before starting to repair the computer. Among other spyware, the this Virtumonde thing really nested itself into my computer. Another possibility as to the cause of the crashing would be a conflict between Ad-Aware and Spyware Doctor. Apparently two programs like that can cause problems like mine when running simultaneously. Just putting this up here - hope it's some use, to someone, in some way, some day...
