He went to go train with Shenron. The Dragon Balls fused into Goku then Goku fused into the Immortal Dragon Shenron. Goku becomes Shenron and inessence becomes immortal himself. Goku is the immortal savior of the Earth and will come to help if you mean it enough. Like he helped his great great . . .how many greats was that grandson Goku Jr.

this is the best anime/manga i ever watch/read. at the end, it was a very sad moment. even it just cartoon, but it left a good memory inside of my heart. goku will always be in my heart..but, i quite dissapointed. how could goku left his family which are hoping to have dinner together and have a great family time...go goku

he wanted to. but then all the trouble came because of him and the dragon ball, so he left. and the story never said where he went. i think even the author had trouble thinking of a good place, so he just left it like that.but something is also wierd. if he caused trouble wherever he went, then isn't it best for him to just... die?

well i found my answer finally...GT was created by the anime people not akira toriyama...so this ending is not the real ending of db...the real ending was the birth of PAN and fight with uub...thats it
