You know, people are so quick to give knee-jerk responses about the "law" and "morals" here. But the real question to ask yourself is, does she act like she's 18 or older? Some girls act much older than they are, and I'd say it's perfectly ok to have a relationship with them. On the flipside there are girls well over 18 who act like they're 12 and really aren't ready to be in a relationship.

It would have been completely normal for a 14 year old girl to marry a 21 year old man. Now it is considered sick and disgusting.
However, it would have been sick and disgusting for a women to display too much skin, especially above the ankle. Now we have a woman who bicycles and roller skates naked downtown in Ashland OR and no one even really pays attention anymore.

It is against the law and if prosecuted you will forever be tagged a sexual offender/predator even if the 14yr girl is "willing". In the US any way.
I know Mexico has different ideas about that sort of thing. Their way of thinking is, 'if she's old enough to bleed, she's old enough to breed'.
In South Florida, sexual predators live under a bridge (by court order - after they get out of prison) anywhere else would be in violation of their release conditions.

There's a good formula to follow. The take the older person's age, divide it by 2, and add 7. They can date anyone above that number.
In this instance, 21/2=11.5.
11.5+7 = 18.5.
To be fair, I'll round down. You can date anyone 18 or older and people shouldn't really complain.
Interestingly, as far as 14-year olds are concerned...
14/2=7
7+7=14
They can only date 14 year olds. Anyone younger than 14 will give you an answer higher than their age, and therefore should not date.

I'mm going to be different than anyone else. the law is that a person over 21 can't have a SEXUAL relationship. As long as ur 'relationship' is just boyfriend and girlfriend I think it will be fine. But if it turns to a sexual relationship then it is against the law and is considered rape. It's not wrong to like a perosn 7 years younger than u. she's just a little young so it seems weird to others. But as u two grow older makes no difference :)

My bottom line was/is this:
As long as the relationship is making any involved happy, you should allow no outside force to impose their unjustified will to separate what you hold dear. Busybodies need not know, nor care (though they love attention and will anyhow), as they are of NO IMPORTANCE and their views are worthless. A relationship reguardless of age (lets just leave that out of all future conversations as what we are always dealing in is PEOPLE), is only worth having if BOTH people are benefitting. Don't make it a suffocating atmosphere for somebody else because everybody has a right to explore their options in life to persue what will make them happy and fulfilled with their limited existence. Helping each other obtain these persuits is what makes this bond important.
