If when you puke they hold your hair back for you. If they have a hot s/o and you would never do anything with them no matter how much they flirted. If you need cash they loan it to you. When you are feeling down they make you feel better.

If you are questioning it then you probably don't know them well enough yet to call them a true friend. someone who shows an interest in you and doesn't just talk about themselves. I am lucky enough to instinctively know. But if you are not an instinctive person then spend time with them more until you feel you can trust them with anything.

If you ever get into real hot water, look behind you. If your friend has your back they are for real if not, you know the deal. Simple.

if you punch them, they'll punch you back with no regrets, cause they know you'll still be there for them tomorrow anyway:) just with a bruise ;)

you can't right off but time will tell. A TRUE friend will be there when you have bad days and not just in the good. they will accept you as you are and not ask you to change. They won't suddenly disappear or be too busy to care about you if you happen to be in the hospital or sick or just need a listening ear. It may take you months to really find out if a person is a true friend but you can do things to test them, after they get comfortable around you, they will let their guard down. I have trusted many "friends" who have said "I am always here for you" and in the end they were only available for me IF I was having a good day or IF they needed something. Don't trust too fast and know that very few people know what being friends really mean.

There will be enough warmth and love in him. Natural affection will show up on the face and exchange of ideas happen easily.You will learn to depend on him and trust him!

A friend will respect my right to be me. They will not force their views and opinions on me and at times may disagree with mine, however, they will do so in a manner which does not cause offense, because they are considerate in their care of my feelings. . A friend will not tell me pretty lies when i need the ugly truth and when they must present to me that which is the ugly truth, they will do so kindly and confidently, as they honor my need to have truth in my life at all times. . A friend will not give up nor seek to hide from me that which is important to her own life values morals or beliefs in order to feel accepted by me, as they will have as much respect for themself, as they do for me and they have the good sense to hold that which is important to them in high regard. . A friend will be the best friend they can be within their own life and moral limitations and will not consider nor partake in anything which may create or cause unnecessary upset friction or unrest between myself and any person, as my friend enjoys the happiness i gain from interacting with other people. . A friend will accept me and not seek to change me into their ideal of who or what i should be. A friend will enhance my life and not seek to control it, over rule it, neglect it nor damage it. A friend will run, laugh, walk, love, play, dance, hide, and also seek with me and in doing so, they strengthen the friendship and bring beauty to my life, because they know i love life and they know flowers need water.

they'll remember your birthday even if you haven't spoken in a long time they'll call you just to tell tou a joke they know how to get to your house, but they don't know the address after supper, they'll want to do the dishes with you they don't need to knock/ring before entering your house they'll hang out with even you did something dorky last night they're there....whatever happens

You will just know! It can be difficult at first but believe me, you will know!
