Can a person send evaporated milk in the mail? How? Can cookies be sent in the mail? Is there a way that the post office can keep something cold for me in the mail?

Yes you can send evaporated milk through the mail in it's original packaging, as long as it isn't freezing cold. Just put the cans in a box and ship them. My mother often ships all sorts of canned goods from CA to NY as Mexican Care packages lol!!!

And there are some cookies that ship well. They can't be too delicate and are best sent in airtight tins or other containers, full or with tissue to keep them from moving and turning into crumbs.

But the PO can't keep anything cold for you. That's what overnight delivery is for and it's best done in the cooler seasons.

Cold things can be packaged with dry ice. Cookies just need to be packed well with paper towels between them and they should be o.k.
