You're reading Can a person send evaporated milk in the mail? How? Can cookies be sent in the mail? Is there a way that the post office can keep something cold for me in the mail?

I've often wondered about USPS not being able to keep anyting cold. Wouldn't it be possible for it to institute (at an increased cost, of course) refrigerated shipping? Special stamps issued for this purpose could have a kinds of cute related themes such as penguins, polar bears, a bust of Maris Crane &c.

LOL! Cute idea:-) But it's not possible for every truck and van to be refrigerated. So they recommend overnighting. I've had meats and other perishables sent, usually in the cooler months without much trouble. They can ship flowers and animals, baby chicks, fruit. They do pretty good.
