I find myself comparing the judges to the American Idol judges and they just don't quite make it. There's only one Simon. (Is he American?)

i never even knew there was a canadian idol lol.

The talent can be equal, or better in some people's opinions (not mine), but the budget is lower and the winner's album is only released in Canada and if you don't win it's harder to get signed.
