I'm from Guam.. I've always said it "Neeether" Everyone else I know says it that way too.

I pronouce it 'nigh' (rhymes with 'thy'), 'the'. So, nigh-the. I'm from England, and I spend lots of time in both the south and the north, so I don't think my precise location in England has anything to do with the way I pronounce it...

I say nigh ther and am from the North of England.

I say both neether and nyther, depending on the rest of the sentence. I also say both eether and iver (either)- most people I know switch between the two- I'm from Midlands England, but lived in Wales a long time and now live in the South East. Maybe that's why I'm confused!

I'm from New Zealand, and I pronounce it both ways "Nighther" or "Neether" I think we Kiwis have a fairly flexible approach to pronunciation, and quite often use more than one for a lot words.
