    I heard a story about a woman who was placed in a very neglectful nursing home. When she was admitted her hair was in a bun. They never undid the bun or washed her hair for months. When they took the woman out of the nursing home she had maggots in her hair. I have heards of this happening to people with contractures also. Contracture is when the muscles spams so much that the arms freeze in a curled up position. This only happens do to severe neglect however.
