  • The trouble with storing vitamins in the fridge is that when you remove them from the fridge in order to take your daily dose, it's likely that condensation will form on the pills. You don't want water on your pills, so it's best just to keep them (as the label says) in a "cool, dry place," not a cold place. By the way, the same applies to coffee beans. Don't keep them in the freezer!
  • I have both a B.Sc and M.Sc in Nutrition Science and I keep my vitamins in the fridge because nutrient vitality is higher if the vitamin is a food starch based vitamin (meaning you need to take 4-6 at once to get a full dose). If its a "one a day" multivitamin, then the cupboard is the best place for them.
