  • Like a moron. It always seems to happen to me when I'm making oogly eyes at some girl in one of the other security lines, then all of the sudden I've got some middle aged brute with beady eyes playing grab ass with me trying to find my fingernail clippers.
  • a little disconcerted.
  • It doesn't bother me. I have been flagged myself for extra security measures..I'd rather be safe than sorry.
  • Meh, doesn't really bother me at all.
  • It makes me feel a little bit safer knowing that checks are being made.
  • I like the answer by 45454 (getting a backrub while getting your personal stuff searched.) Really don't mind too much if TSA has to go through personal stuff as long as they do it respectfully and not act like complete douches while doing it. Just because a passenger is cooperative and acting respectfully does not mean a TSA will act accordingly. I have seen TSA's act like a$$hles when making inspections while the passengers are very polite and respectful. But you as a consumer can't do a darn thing about it. It is not a good idea to argue with an authority figure who has a gun and is trigger happy and sadistic. Also, why don't they take a few seconds to change their gloves everytime they go through your clean personal items? What if the agent just went through some dirty underwear belonging to someone else and then goes through your stuff with dirtied gloves? That strikes me as disgusting because you can't always see germs.
  • like they are doing their job.
  • It makes me want to give them a body cavity search with a rusty wire brush!
  • I've gone through Atlanta's airport security with all sorts of illegal stuff. I have yet to get caught. TSA is incompetent. I'd feel better if they actually found illegal items. I once had a TSA agent look through 2 compartments of my 14 compartment bag and then let me go. I immediately called security and demanded that my bag be thoroughly checked. If my rights are going to be violated, then they will be thoroughly violated.
  • violated, they have no cause to search me, yet they do, and I feel sorry for my BF he's ALWAYS targeted.
  • Safe. I don't mind, it's to keep us all safe. They are just doing their jobs. Not a big deal. :D
  • It does not bother me in the least. I appreciate the efforts as it does make flying safer.
  • LOL... Like a muslim :) here come the downrates...
  • It should give you a feeling of safety. To know that not only you are being searched, but everyone else, about to board, has also been cleared. The search of my luggage and the search of my body is no big deal. At least i know now, that the person sitting next to me is not wired to explode at 30,000 feet.
  • I feel scared I might get arrested.
  • Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority Police beat up a girl at Reagan National Airport, throwing her across the room into a person and a metal chair. Then they picked her up and threw her against a table. After that, they bashed her head into that metal table, giving her a concussion. Then they twisted her arm so hard that it was about to break.
  • Read the story here http://drphil.com/slideshows/slideshow/4635/ She was not a threat. She wasnt doing anything illegal. She definitely didnt deserve a beatdown. Ralph Nader said the cop who gave her the concussion looks like a frustrated wrestler, looking to beat anyone up. If they had beaten her like that in a back alley they would be doing 15 years in jail. http://drphil.com/shows/video/?XMLPath=/video.xml/%3FShowID%3D1126%26Type%3DOther
  • I feel sorry for them since most of the time my cloths are stinking after returning from 2-3 week vacation.
  • It makes me wonder if all of the rules and rituals have really served to make air travel safer, or if they've just taken on a life of their own at this point.
  • It makes me feel like hiding a banana in my pocket to give them something to find / smile!
