Don't bother hiring a lawyer for the bank's lawsuit. You cosigned for the loan, so you are responsible to the bank. Once the bank gets a judgment against you, you can then sue your husband.

You're reading In my divorce papers my ex husband took full responsibility for a car that was repossed, but i did cosign for it. however the bank is now taking me to court. i have no money for a lawyer because i spent it all on a divorce.
