Ramps and hurdles. I attached a store-bought guinea pig cage to the end of a 3×2-grid cube & coroplast cage, and the piggies absolutely *loved* running down the ramp from the second floor, pulling a U-turn in the cage, and jumping over the lip into the first floor proper.

Of course, the absolute *best* way to keep a guinea pig entertained is to make sure he or she has a friend. Guinea pigs are *very* social animals and can get quite lonely, if left without at least one other piggy for companionship.

large beads and other non sharp things that jingle hung up in the cage this also helps them get used to noises also attach a small mirror on the cage wall so they can admire themselves

take string and put food on it. than you can hang it from the top of the cage. also you could put a bell on it. another is take a paper bag and put holes in it.

another iss, put a treat in an ink free paper and crinkle it up they have to search for it.

    hope this helps:D

My dad and I got together and built my two guinea pigs wooden boxes...that didn't have floor because they poop and pee all in it...some are tunnels too...make sure they are big enough that they dont get stuck and they have small holes in them for fresh air..not big holes they can get stuck in. cardboard boxes are good ideas too..just monitor them and make sure they don't eat it because it is not very good if a lot is ingested. Stuffed animals are good too. Pull out the eyes (if they are plastic) or any other parts that are not cloth. But don't let them eat any of it...if they start to eat it take it out. Mine loved it when I took a long tube sock and put a tennis ball in the end of it and filled the rest with some soft bedding (not woodchips) and tied the end off..then like to push it around and snuggle in it...change it about once a month if they urinate or defecate on it. :) Enjoy!!

carboard boxes free of tape and staples. you can also try newpaper balls, or make sleeping bags by sewing 2 washrags together.

You could give him a blanket to play in. And also guinea pigs love to hide so maybe build him a little hut or something out of a cardboard box that he can run in and out of.

Cozy sacks/Cuddle cups. One youtube video has how to make a cozy sack.I like cozy sacks better because you can roll down the inside to turn it into a Cuddle cup.So one colder nights keep yours a cozy sack and on warm nights flip it into a cuddle cup.I do not suggest yogurt treats inside blank no die non toxic paper(well , I agree with other users about the paper!!)But yougurt treats can poison your pigs , even if its 1# docter approved,Unfortuneitly it has happend to many people. So put in some Timmothy hay or maybe a slice of seedless apple and they love it.I dont no if my guinea pig likes bells she backs off and cooes so someone please help me determine if she likes it.Also hammocks and pig-loos are great starters!!If you cant make a cuddle cup or cozy sack,You can order them online. Some good guinea pig brands are Fuzzies Kingdom,Jen's custom crafts and more!!Just ill tell you theres great product results if you google it,and it helped me to click some of their suggestions when i needed help spelling or needed the name of something to search or just simply forgot it.
