Is it wrong to want to kill my last pet fish or flush it down the toilet because I'm tired of it being around and I want to get rid of the tank?

Please find it a new home. You wouldn't like it if your mom flushed you down the toilet.

Yes it is. Fish are easy to rehome, just take it back to the pet shop. There's no excuse for killing an animal just because you're bored of it. Maybe put a little more thought into getting a pet next time.

You should never flush fish down the toilet anyway (dead or alive) because there is a risk of spreading diseases to native fish.

Yes. A fish is a small easy pet to care for and there are many potential fish owners out there. If you would please take the time to e-mail me at jm083b@icc.lab.edu and tell me your location, I would be happy to take the fish off your hands....assuming you are close enough...if not then please take it to a local pet store and inform them you would not like to keep the fish anymore and request that the store care for it..most, if not all, stores will willingly accept the fish...
