I was once chased around an outhouse by a rooster -

I have known nice and horrid cockerels. I had one that I could carry around and cuddle, he was sweet....on the other hand I looked after a friends' chickens once and her cockerel would run at you and as he reached your legs would upend himself to stab you with his spurs! My only defence I'm afraid was to use a metal bucket to defend myself!
