Question

Help answer this question below.

I've noticed that a muscle pain in my neck (from a strain or poor posture) will move down the spine until it dissipates at the base of the spine. What is happening? Is it a type of fluid?

Nope. its nerves. not a doctor, here, but plenty of experience. had two neck surgeries. the nerves, exiting through the spine, in the neck area, mostly effect the upper body torso, like the arms, fingers and hands.

Sometimes, muscles react in sympathy to the effected nerves and there you go. since the nerves intermingle between body muscles, its natural for them to become involved.

This may be the situation, which you have described. if its not serious, it will dissipate.

Go see a chiropractor. It could be that your spine needs adjusting.
