  • As long as they're both adults, it's their business. There is no objective / external measure of the limit here. What is acceptable to others is irrelevant.
  • As long as its legal (and IMO sometimes even not...i.e. the 18 yr old boy w/ the 17 yr old gf), It really doesn't matter if its TRUE love.
  • Legal age 18
  • It varies depending on the age of the people dating. I guess society looks at it as kind a percentage thing. The younger you are, the less of a difference you can get away with. As age increases, it becomes ok for to date with larger age gaps. Example: When I was 20, I would've gotten dirty looks for dating a 17 year old. A few years ago, I was 26, and briefly dating a woman who was 15 years older than me. We never had any trouble with others.
  • no more than 90
  • Personally, i dont think age matters at all, as long as its legal. If two people are truly inlove with each other, age is irrelivent.
  • age differences matter more when you are dealing with younger people. The difference between an 18 year old dating a 33 year old is way more intense than a 35 year old dating a 50 year old. The maturity levels are really what make the difference so intense.
  • As long as they are concenting adults, and it is acceptable to the two people involved that is ALL that counts.
  • I wouldn't presume to make this decision for anyone else, but my personal limitations have always been that whoever I dated needed to be younger than my Dad. It's really just about the "ick" factor for me, not that I've ever dated anyone who was that much older than me.
  • As long as both of you are 18+, the older you get, the less age matters.
  • 32 years
  • so long as the younger person isn't half as old as the other. But for me personally, maybe 10 years?
  • The age that they feel is most acceptable.
  • The acceptable "formula" is age/2 +7 for non-creepiness... So, a 50 year old person could date someone 25+7, so 32 or older... I was 37 dating a 54 year old woman, and while age was an issue for us both, I know I had gotten past it, at least enough to fall for her... Also, this was popularized a bit by a webcomic on xkcd.com.
  • Love doesn't recognize age.
