pH = − log10[H + ] (pl peruse it as base 10) pH is the measure of H+ present. If the pH is same that means it has same number of H+. Let us take the example of HCl & H2SO4 HCl having high concentration(say 35%),will have less number of H+, vis a vis 30% H2SO4.. Reason is on dissolving in water HCL will give single H+ (H^+ + Cl-), whereas H2SO4 will give 2H+ (H^2 + SO4^--).

Let's complicate this. Suppose we also have two alkali samples, C and D. Mix AC, AD, BC, BD. All neutral??? What's different????
