No! . That's a weird question! It doesn't work. Look up Prohibition.
-
Prohibition screwed up the economy!
-
no its one of our pleasures in life
-
no, even though it gave me cirrohsis, they shouldn't be banned, neither cigarretts. Everyone has a right to do or take whatever he or she wants, up to a limit without interfering in someone else's life. Now if the person wants to drink or smoke in private or doesn't hurt any, that's nobody's else's business but his.

No, that is idiotic. It's been done, and has failed miserably. In Russia, the Putin administration has put a prohibitively high tax (at least, for the poorer people) on Vodka and what happened? They started buying bootlegged grain alcohol and thousands suffered from liver disease and failure.

This is from a former alcoholic -- NO.

They tried that once it didn't work. I think it was the cause of the great depression, (but that's just a theory I'm working on).
-
No. I don't believe that anything should be banned, people should just be educated as to the options, the consequences, and given the choice.
-
no way if that happend i'd move to another country
-
ummmm.....yeah ..didn't we try that already?
-
They already tried it. It didn't work. People started their own stills to produce alcohol. Very often got poisoned.
-
I don't think so. All you would end up, was a bunch of people making a ton of money off of alchohol that they either smuggle in to the country or make themselves.
