No. If someone is illegally on your property and gets hurt they can't sue you whether you were neglegent or not.

No, you cannot be sued. I have Staffordshire terrier I have a beware sign just because of the breed, thou she would more than likely lick them to death. Any way if your dog bites some one that illegally entered your home you are no liable

Looking at two possible answers to your question, would include these thoughts: 1. having the warning signs would shield you from criminal charges and you personally have not assaulted the intruder. 2. you are the owner of the dog. you have a right to protect you, your family and your property. having posted these signs and you do not intentionally instruct your dog to attack the intruder(he did it on his own), will probably give you a safety buffer from criminal and civil liability. 3. providing the intruder can read english(this is another problem, altogether), at least you will not shoot the intruder, unless he gives forward aggression to you or your family.

I think he would be able to sue. However, the judgment would most likely be in your favor, as you are not negligent at having a dog in your own home. Plus you got a great defense by having those signs posted.
