They will grow back if it is only a minor wound, but significant injuries that cause major scars can remove your fingerprints. However, you may then leave marks that match your scar patterns on your fingers. You can also permanently remove your fingerprints by performing skin grafts on your fingers from skin on your stomach or legs instead. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23150413/ is an example of the second case

Yes I think they would! You could try covering them with super glue if you don't want the police to catch you LoL There are other ways they can identify you these days though. EG your ears. The odds of someone having the same ears as you are virtually nil. You gonna chop them off?? LoL

Well, you know, if I had a huge deep scar on each one would it be printless? I guess you may not be able to know for sure. I am just curious. I am not no the run or anything lol

most likely... you would have to take off your entire finger pad to make it scar so much to where you wont have a finger print!!! And yes if it comes back it will be the same print as before!!! What are you doing trying to avoid the law!!!
-
Yes they will.

No. people's fingerprints change every few years. nicks, scrapes, cuts, burns, bites. they just have the technology to match similarities.
