in my neck of the woods, the fast lane is the slow lane, and the slow lane is the fast lane. the slow lane invariably speeds on way ahead of the fast lane traffic.

I bounce between the 2 because I usually have to try to get around some person going 40 in a 70 in the fast lane who refuses to get over and then I find myself stuck behind a tractor trailer on the slow lane so I jump back over into the fast lane until some kid who thinks he is in the fast and furious rides my bumper for 5 miles and then I get back intot he slow lane only to find it is blocked because a soccer mom talking on her cellphone and eating a big mac while changing radio stations and doing her makeup just wrecked her minivan

Slow lane, and will never break the limit.

Depends on the mood. Usually in the fast lane. Sometimes when I want to chill out and listen to music while I drive then I jump in slow lane.

I pass people on the right-hand shoulder and occasionally hit a parked 18 wheeler.

Fast lane. I hate tailgating and do not do it myself. but I do get irate at people who think doing 50-60 in a lane prescribed for 70 is OK.

Usually the slow lane because everyone is over in the fast lane--thinking they're going fast, and leaving the slow lane empty for me!

I drive in a fast lane until the engine light comes on and I start smelling the rad fluid, then I left with no choice but to move towards the slow lane with my flasher on.
