Yes! At least the K-Marts in my area do. Usually around mid-day when the most customers are in the store and shopping. They have a special display area with a large blue revolving light (like on a police car) that shines down on the recently announced sale. They are usually special sales that only last for a few hours and they have several per day.

Well, looks pretty unanimous...maybe they should advertise more to get the nostalgic dollar. Me, I can't stand K-Mart, but used to laugh about the blue light specials.

I think Blue Light Specials were born in Tennessee. we had these specials back in the 70's, but have not had one in many years.
