  • I don't even understand what your're talking about. However, Old Dave is going to try to help you anyway... because I'm cool like that. The problem is probably your brake light switch. It is mounted under the dash near the top of the brake pedal. When the pedal is pressed it pushes down onto the switch, turning on the brake lights. It is probably bad. The other possibility is a short in the system which is giving the bulbs power.
  • Happened to me...they don't make the part anymore. Press down the foot brake and you will notice an old pad that broke off of the steel bar that presses a switch to turn off your brake lights. I simply took part of a 3x5 card, folded it up and taped it to the cross bar to replace the old pad. It has worked for the last 6+ months. Good luck!
