Popcorn - love it or hate it? If you like it, do you put anything on it? Do you pop your own or buy already popped bags? If you pop your own do you use the traditional oil in a big pot on the stove, hot-air popper, microwave or a Jiffypop kit?

hmm lets see i love popcorn; not i dont put anything on it; i pop my own [most of the time; sometimes i get the bags with carmel ..mmmmmmm yummy]; ........no traditional oil in a pot [dang i can hardly cook noodles in a pot .. shudder 2 think of the damage i can do with popcorn]; so umm microwave [even then i sumtimes burn it haha

I love popcorn. It's awesome with lots of butter and salt. I usually get the stuff you put in the microwave, but sometimes I like the smart food popcorn with chedder or whatever it is that's on there.

Love it the old fashioned way, Orville Reddenbacher in a pan, with real butter and salt.

I love popcorn, even more so since I've gotten back to making it the original way. I forgot how terrific that was. It's not that much oil and we use popcorn salt in the oil so the popcorn comes out perfect. We do it in a large stainless steel bowl with foil on top and use tongs to shake it over heat. Usually there isn't one single clinker. Every kernel pops!!!
