Help answer this question below.
C: Documents and Settings: -you-: Application Data: Mozilla Firefox: Profiles: -yours-.default: persdict.dat
close firefox.
it's text.
C:Program FilesMozilla Firefoxdictionaries
.
It's a text file. I used SciTE to edit it.
.
Look in your profile folder. It ought to be:
C:/Documents and Settings/ -you-/ Application Data/ Mozilla Firefox/ Profiles/ -yours-.default.
Application Data is a hidden folder. Use Detail View.
.
Find the file: persdict.dat
That's where your dictionary additions are.
.
Exit Firefox.
.
Open persdict.dat in a text editor. it's a text file. I use SciTE. Notepad doesn't work so well.
Find the word you want to delete, and do so.
.
Save it. Quit the text editor. You're done.
