The largest airport in the us is usually determined by the area. And Denver International Airport has the largest area. It is the 2nd largest in the world!

Largest? The ranking for the above would be correct for BUSIEST (daily takeoffs and landings) - but "largest" could mena a lot of things. Most passenger boarding is Las Vegas. Longest runway is Edwards AFB. Busiest general aviation airport (non-scheduled departures - mostly private jets and piston airplanes) is Van Nuys.

actually the largest airport in the world is the King Khalid International Airport in Saudi Arabia. It covers a whopping 55,040 acres, but only serves 8 million ppl per year compared to Chicago's O'hare.
