  • try going to the nintendo website there is a page where you can look up how to fix the problem by the code. Other than that buy a nintendo wi-fi connector. Its a wi-fi dongle that only works with nintendos but its far superior since you just install and go. I had to buy this as mine wouldnt connect either. I was up and running in no time, goodluck
  • Change the WEP key length to 13 characters and make sure you've completed the steps below. 1. enable DHCP server on the router but set the IP address lease to "never expire" 2. let the DS try to find the access point (after setting WEP key and SSID) 3. DS fails to find point, but looking in the DHCP clients list on the router reveals the allocated IP address. 4. Set this IP address manually in the DS, along with the subnet mask and the gateway (the IP of the router) Note: you need to find/set the address of the DNS server provided by your ISP

  • I THINK some router brands just don't work with Nintendo Wi-Fi
  • i am unsure of how to help you but i am also having the same problem. the only difference is that i dont know what my wep key number is. would you know if it is found on the router somewhere? i know that it is a 10 digit number of some sort but i do not know what it is or where to find it. where did you find yours?...oh, i just remembered that i was just reading somewhere on the net that someone said that some routers just are not compatible with wi-fi. maybe that could be your problem?
