We bought a car a year ago for $10,000 (2003 Ford Aerostar) and its already giving us problems. Is there ANY option we can take to trade this van in for a brand new car for $12,000 we saw in the paper? I mean there has to be some way, right?

you would be better off fixing the van then giving to charity for tax writeoff, won't see more than 800-1k as a trade in
